Bláth na hÓige

We opened our first Early Intervention autism class in September 2017, before moving to a purpose-built classroom in 2018. The new building also contains a gross motor area, sensory room, quiet room and playground, and is adjacent to our school running track and tyre mountain.

The official opening took place in October 2019. In 2020 we opened our Junior class, adding further classes in 2021 and 2022. We have 4 class teachers and 8 SNAs currently working with the children in Bláth na hÓige.

We use a variety of different methodologies, techniques and approaches in Bláth na hÓige; TEACCH, PECS, Lámh and many more. We aim to help each child develop and reach their full potential in a holistic manner.
